If you're planning a visit to Ravenwood, we welcome you to take advantage of the many lodging opportunities offered to you. From our many bed and breakfasts to the fine Donovan Inn, you can be assured of a (hopefully) good night's sleep, a healthy meal, and a smile. You may even see a ghost or two (or three) while visiting our town, or may even see wolves while hiking in the woods.

Stay a while! 

Relax and take it easy at the Donovan Inn located on Main Street, an especially enchanting downtown area that gently winds its way through the town's historic buildings. On a bright fall weekday, a variety of shops and stores—including antique dealers—welcome locals and visitors alike.

Visitors can also stay at one of our many campgrounds near our swimming lagoon. Reservations are available in blocks of one month at a time, up to thirteen months in advance, on the 13th of each month at 7 am Pacific time. We have a year-round group camping retreat facility and environmental center nestled in the heart of the Redwood Forest.

We are truly fortunate to have such a beautiful forest where we can escape to enjoy the natural splendor. Visitors can explore miles of beautiful hiking, riding, and bicycling trails through grasslands, chaparral, and shady redwood groves or along the shores of the lagoon. 

It is always a good idea to stop at the kiosk on your way in and check the updates on sightings (mountain lions, coyotes, wolves, and rattlesnakes), observations (wildflowers, birds), trail conditions, scheduled events, and grab one of our newly designed maps if you don’t have one yet. Don't want visitors wandering off and never returning!
